The legspinner claimed 10 wickets in the match, including career-best second-innings figures of 6 for 109, dominating South Australia’s batting lineup and ensuring a comfortable fourth-innings chase of 139.
Queensland posted 398 in their first innings, powered by Marnus Labuschagne’s 159 and Hearne’s 106, while W. Agar took 5 wickets. South Australia responded with 228 and 308 in their innings, with Conor McInerney scoring 60 and Hanuma Sangha 51 in the second innings. Swepson dismantled the South Australian top order, removing key players including McInerney, Henry Hunt, and Nathan McSweeney. Angus Lovell’s unbeaten 72* sealed the victory for Queensland.
